Dr. Jalila AL-Shekaili is an Immunopathologist, Senior Consultant, Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH), with a fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologist of Australasia (RCPA).

Currently, with her colleagues, she is responsible for provision of the immunology lab service to the SQUH and many non-SQUH hospitals.

After her clinical immunopathology training, she did her PhD on Immunology/Immunodeficiency at The Australian National University (ANU), Australia.

Dr. Jalila has helped in the introduction of different diagnostic immunodeficiency, autoimmune screening  panels serving the whole country. Moreover, she is contributing to supervision of master and PhD students.
