Dr. Tariq Al Fanna Al Araimi is the Vice President of the Oman Society of Rheumatology (OSR). Majority of his practice is in the field of Rheumatology at the Royal Hospital in Oman. He completed his training at University of Toronto in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.  

His interest is bridging the gap between health care services and rheumatic diseases in the Middle East through innovative health professions educational models. In rheumatology, his interests are large vessel vasculitis and Behcet’s disease and connective tissue disease ILD.  

Dr. Al Araimi successfully earned dual board certification in rheumatology and internal medicine by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Additionally, Dr. Al Araimi is a Fellow International of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR).
