Dr. Jasjit S. Suri is an innovator, a visionary, a scientist, and an internationally known world leader in biomedical engineering and its management. During his career, he has developed products and worked extensively in several fields of engineering in medicine covering Cardiology, Neurology, Angiology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Orthopedics, Genetics, preventive and precision medicine. Under his leadership he has obtained over five times 510(K)/FDA clearances in Urology, Angiography and Image Guided Surgery Product Lines.
Dr. Suri is a fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), the American Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), the American Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Asia Pacific Vascular Society (APVS), and the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA).
He was a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis (USA), and Graphics Era University, Dehradun (India). He is also the recipient of the Director General’s Gold Medal, in 1980. Dr. Suri has won numerous awards, and has nearly 40,000 citations, coauthored 100 books, over 50 patents, more than 200+ Artificial Intelligence international journal publications, and has an H-index of 91.
Dr. Suri received his Masters from University of Illinois, Chicago, USA, Doctorate from University of Washington, Seattle, USA, and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Cleveland, USA. While Dr. Suri is adjunct Professor at many national and international schools across the globe, he is currently the Chairman of AtheroPoint in Roseville, California, USA, dedicated to imaging technologies for cardiovascular and stroke.
